Layne Gillespie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2002 and a Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law in 2007. Randall Glyn Kirby was born and raised in Hartsville, Tennessee, graduating from Trousdale County High. He graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee Tech and earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Belmont University College of Law.
