As an attorney practicing for 40 years, I have gained experience that has been invaluable. I was the first female county attorney of Wise, the first county court law judge of Wise County, and have served as an attorney in private practice.

I was born and raised in Denton, Texas and graduated from Denton High School in 1998. My mother is and has been a physician in Denton since 1980. I feel that my educational background in science, business, and law gives me a unique perspective on any dispute including those involving complex business structures. Additionally, due to my experience with small businesses, I understands the issues and potential obstacles that affect them as well.

John M. Groce, Jr. was born in Waco and raised in Colleyville before he started working as a young paralegal with his father and grandfather. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 from Baylor University, with a major in English and a minor in Rhetoric & Argumentation before attending Texas Tech University School of Law, where he graduated in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree. John was later admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1995. During his time as an attorney, he has had extensive trial experience in personal injury law.

Matthew G. Messerli is the founding attorney of The Messerli Law Firm, PLLC. Prior to pursuing his legal career, Attorney Messerli earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and his Master’s in Finance (MSF) from the Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He has accumulated more than a decade of experience as a business consultant and operator.
