Greg graduated with his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2007 and after graduation began working for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office (CCSAO) as a criminal prosecutor. Noah Friend has spent most of his life in Pikeville, Kentucky, and graduated from Pikeville High School. He attended the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate education, where he majored in History. He then attended law school at the University of Kentucky, and graduated in the top 25 of his class.
