I started out by working as a volunteer attorney with various pro bono programs in New York City, including Access to Justice (handling in-court landlord-tenant and consumer debt cases, and performing consultations in family law) and the Volunteer Foreclosure Project sponsored by the Queens County Bar Association (which focuses on foreclosure settlement conferences). I gained valuable experience from these programs and started handling cases on my own in 2010, starting with landlord-tenant and consumer debt cases. Issac focuses his practice on civil litigation, consumer bankruptcy, commercial collections, and judgment enforcement. Issac also represents clients in a variety of real estate matters, creditors' and debtors' rights, and helping clients plan for the need of advance directives, healthcare proxies, powers of attorney, and wills.

Issac received his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2015 where he was the editor in chief of the Cardozo Public Law, Policy, and Ethics Journal, and received the Jacob Burns Medal for unusual achievement in various law school academic/professional activities.
