Greg Porter was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in Middletown and then successfully completed Ohio's Firefighter Training Program. Afterwards, he found a call to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Fresh out of basic and combat training, Greg began his studies at the University of Cincinnati.
