I have been specializing in criminal law for 20 years, the first 7 years as a prosecutor. For the last 13 years, I have been defending individuals charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors and traffic offenses to serious violent felonies.

My extensive trial experience along with my extensive DUI educational background enhance my ability to effectively defend any type of DUI case. I have a through understanding of blood testing and have been trained in the use of the gas chromatograph and mass spec. Additionally, I have been trained in all aspects of the Intox 5000EN and its use of infrared spectrometry.

I was born in Hartford, Connecticut, but spent most of my first 18 years overseas. As a young adult, I returned to the United States, completed my undergraduate degree at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and earned my law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia.
