I am originally from the Greater Houston area, and have settled in Austin with my Criminal Defense Practice. I take pride in giving great legal representation to all of my clients.

I am a criminal defense attorney practicing in Williamson and Travis County, Texas. I have been licensed since November, 2002. I worked as a prosecutor in Travis County and a Williamson County Deputy Sheriff before opening my own office. I offer free consultations to all potential clients.

I attended Texas Wesleyan School of Law, graduating in 2010. Since then I've practiced in criminal law for a decade, the majority of that time in Austin, handling cases in Travis County and throughout the Central Texas area. I've handled a wide variety of cases--from murder to minor drug charges.

My approach is simple listen to my client's needs and I get the best results for them possible.

This is a general practice office where I handle a variety of legal matters. My focus is on maintaining low overhead and providing high quality individualized service. I feel that this practice style provides the most value to the client. In my free time I coach high school volleyball in Oklahoma City and spend time with my greyhound. I attend St. Francis Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.

Erin Shinn has been practicing criminal defense in Texas since 2007. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Tech University in 2004. She received her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007. She honed her trial and advocacy skills in law school as a member of the Board of Barristers.
