Upon graduating from law school, George joined the FBI as a Special Agent. He spent time in Washington, D.C. and Omaha, Nebraska before being transfered to Waterloo, Iowa. Covering a range of eleven counties, George investigated crimes ranging from bank robberies to military deserters. He also spent time in Cleveland, Ohio, before returning to Huntsville in 1972. George still has strong ties to the FBI as a member of the Former FBI Agents organization. Outside of work, George, his wife Lynda, and their three children and six grandchildren all attend First Presbyterian Church in Huntsville.

Jeff provides extensive expertise to small and large business clients regarding daily operations and tax-saving strategies. His corporate practice also includes business formation and financing issues, contract review and assistance, mergers and acquisitions and employment law matters.

He also skillfully applies his tax knowledge to his estate planning practice area. In addition to drafting documents necessary to implement his client’s estate plans, including wills and trusts, Jeff counsels regarding charitable giving and special needs planning. Since 1990 when he joined Martinson & Beason, P.C., Doug has been a leader in the Huntsville community. His practice focuses on estate planning and probate, wills and trust, guardianship and elder law as well as corporate and business planning and disputes. In his spare time, Doug referees ice hockey and enjoys reading, snowing skiing and playing golf and tennis.

Brenda Stedham was born in Birmingham and raised in small communities throughout north Alabama where her father served as a United Methodist minister. She graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College, where she was Student Government President. She received her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1980 and moved to Anniston after serving as a law clerk to a Judge Richard L. Holmes of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals.
