I am a native of West Wichita and graduated from Maize High School. After high school, I attended Kansas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with an emphasis on Criminology, in 2013. Upon graduating from K-State, I enrolled at Washburn University School of Law and graduated with Dean’s Honors in May 2017. I am a Christian, husband, and father of five who has work experience in the sciences, manufacturing, and the mission field. I am a hard worker, a diligent researcher, and an effective representative. I am committed to providing excellent legal services to all those who will trust me to be their attorney. I started Coughlin Law Office with the goal of providing legal services to businesses and individuals throughout northeast Kansas and beyond.

I graduated Cum Laude from Washburn Law School in 2003. During law school, I participated in Law Journal, Moot Court, and Law Clinic. I set for and passed the Kansas bar in the summer of 2003 and then I took and passed the Missouri bar in 2004. Directly after law school, I had the honor of working directly with the late Judge Elliott of the Kansas Court of Appeals as a research attorney. I then worked briefly with a local attorney in Lawrence, prior to starting my own practice in November of 2005.
