I have been practicing family law since 2002, and I have handled cases in over a dozen jurisdictions in North Carolina.

I received my law degree from North Carolina Central University and now practice in Durham County and surrounding counties. I specialize in guardianship law, estate planning and real estate partitions. As a solo practitioner, I am the person who interacts with my clients, not a staff member. I am proud to offer my services and promise I will go above and beyond for my clients.

Prior to joining Ralston, Benton, Byerley & Moore in 2021, Catherine worked as an insurance adjuster for two large national insurance companies, where she gained valuable insight and experience on the innerworkings of claim handling. Thereafter, Catherine became an insurance defense attorney, where she represented a variety of insurance companies and employers against claims filed against them. In 2016, Catherine switched sides and began representing individuals in personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.
