I am a graduate of DePaul University College of Law. After law school, I moved to Colorado and worked as a public defender for several years. Through this experience, I gained extensive advocacy skills and learned to effectively fight for my clients’ rights. In 2006, I relocated to Washington, D.C. to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs on the Board of Veterans Appeals (Board). During this time, I developed a passion for helping Veterans. Brandon double-majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida.

Edward L. Powell is an attorney in Winston-Salem, NC. He is the Yadkin County Attorney and the Town Attorney of Kernersville, NC and has a private law practice. He is the former Commissioner of the NC Department of Motor Vehicles and served in the State House of Representatives and as a member of the NC Board of Transportation. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and earned his Juris Doctor degree at Wake Forest University. He was recognized in 2022 by Marquis Who's Who in America.
