I grew up in Strawberry Point where my family still resides. Since graduating from the University Of Iowa College Of Law in 2007 I have worked in Waterloo, where I have also become involved in my church and local bar association. While I practice in the areas of child custody and dissolution of marriage, I also understand that persons with children are connected as a family. I therefore strive to work through these family issues with the long-term in mind. I continue to practice primarily in family law.

I have been a practicing patent attorney for over 15 years with a background in physics and engineering. I run my own firm Patwrite Law that specializes in working with private inventors and small businesses. I taught high school physics for many years before going to law school I build and fly RC airplanes for fun.

Nina grew up in Waterloo, Iowa, attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Nina later attended Drake University Law School where she gained practical experience interning for Iowa Legal Aid and as a student attorney/mediator at the Drake Legal Clinic. Jennifer Meyer was raised in Primghar, Iowa and graduated from South O'Brien High School. She then attended the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and graduated with honors with a major in Finance and minors in Business Communications and Coaching in 1999.
