Dean received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and his law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas. He is Board Certified in Criminal Law from Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been practicing in the area of criminal defense for over 25 years. Dean has been a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 1999 and serves on TCDLA's rural practice committee. Dean has also been selected to the Texas Super Lawyers list for the last 4 years in a row.

Chris Allen was born and raised in Montgomery County graduating from Conroe High School in 1994. After going to undergraduate at Abilene Christian University and law school at Texas Tech University Chris immediately returned to his roots and began prosecuting at the Montgomery County District Attorneys Office followed by a stint prosecuting at the Montgomery County Attorney's Office for a total of 9 years of prosecuting experience.
