Michael C. Rosenblat graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Rosenblat enlisted in the US Army (1987 – 1993) and, in 1994 became an Assistant Attorney General with the Illinois Attorney General's Office in Chicago, having served as Deputy Chief Criminal Prosecution, Deputy Chief Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (lead prosecutor), and Deputy Chief Special Litigation. Ed was born in Park Ridge, Illinois. During grade school and high school, Ed lived in the small town of Crete, Illinois. In his senior year of high school, Ed enlisted with the Illinois Army National Guard as a field artillery cannon crewmember. In August of 2001, Ed was sent to Fort Sill, Oklahoma for basic and advanced individual training. The attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon happened during his training. Michael Perillo is in his 36th year of practice as an attorney. He began his career in 1983 as an active-duty JAG Officer in the U.S. Navy. In that capacity, his duties included the prosecution of Courts-Martial. He also served as Staff Judge Advocate (legal counsel) to the Commanding Officer of the Service School Command at Great Lakes, Illinois. At the time, that command was one of the largest (by population) in the entire U.S. Navy. Mr. Perillo was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal in 1987 for meritorious service as a JAG Officer.
