Mr. Brashear's legal career began with a tour aboard the U.S.S. Philippine Sea (CG58). While aboard this U.S. Naval vessel, he defended the United States while visiting and taking in the cultural values of many other countries such as Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy and Greece. I am certified in Criminal Law and Criminal Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and as a Criminal Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. I practice primarily criminal defense at the trial and appellate levels. While I have cases in state and federal civilian courts, my caseload focuses heavily on military law, including courts-martial, administrative separation boards, correction of records (but NOT discharge upgrades), security clearances, and other administrative issues.
