After receiving a bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University in 1979, I moved to Dallas to attend law school. I obtained my law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1982. I was in private practice until I joined the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office in 1985. I was assigned to the newly formed juvenile division in 1988, becoming the supervising attorney in 1995, and remained there until 2008 when I returned to private practice. The focus of my practice remains juvenile law.

Dakota Wrinkle is the managing attorney of Texas Landowner Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Wrinkle is licensed to practice law in both Oklahoma and Texas. Mr. Wrinkle obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with cum laude distinction in biology from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. After graduating from Hardin-Simmons, Mr. Wrinkle obtained his Juris Doctor with Highest Honor from The University of Tulsa College of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
