I earned a Bachelors of Arts from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. During law school, I was awarded the CALI Award (given to the student with the highest grade in a course) in Constitutional Law and Judicial Process and the Outstanding Achievement Award in Property Law. I was also selected to represent the university in the National Transactional LawMeet, where our team was awarded the best agreement. Dallas graduated from Albany Law School in Albany, New York in 2008. Before joining Ivie & Young, he clerked for Judge David N. Mortensen in the Fourth District Court in Utah. Dallas represents the fourth generation of the Young family to practice at Ivie & Young.

Mr. Laird practices in several areas of law including civil litigation, contract drafting, business law, bankruptcy and probate (i.e., wills and trusts). His clients benefit from the breadth of his experience. He provides excellent service and advocacy for his clients, while also giving them honest and practical advice.
